BID SUSTAINABLE CITIES

This virtual reality experience takes a first-hand look at the environmental, urban and social problems in the communities along the Juan Diaz river basin caused by flooding and the loss of the Panama City mangrove forest.

The spectator visits the most important sites affected by the flooding, flying over Panama City and the Juan Diaz river, entering a house in Ciudad Radial, working with the mayor and the IDB to solve the problems, and touring the mangrove forest to raise awareness of the importance of preserving it.

The video was presented at the UN’s Habitat III Conference in Quito, Ecuador.
