RESERVA HERMANDAD – GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

Reserva Hermandad is an immersive experience about the creation of the large Hermandad Marine Reserve in the Pacific and the signing of the Government of Ecuador's debt-for-biodiversity swap agreement, a financial milestone for nature conservation and the fight against climate change.

The process of creating “Reserva Hermandad", led by the IDB communications team, led us to record 12k resolution images in the incredible Galapagos Islands.

Presented during the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2023 in Dubai (COP28 UAE), and with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) (BID)The goal was clear: to take attendees, especially ministers and high-level leaders, on a journey by land, sea and air through the Galapagos Islands and effectively transmit the importance of the debt swap project for the conservation and protection of our ecosystems,
